At PixelHub, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Who We Are (Data Controller vs. Data Processor)

  • For Merchants (Our Customers): PixelHub acts as the Data Controller. We collect your email and billing information to provide our software to you.
  • For Subscribers (Your Customers): PixelHub acts as the Data Processor. When you upload a CSV or sync your Shopify store, we process your customers' email addresses strictly on your behalf to send emails. You remain the Data Controller of your audience list.

2. Data We Collect

  • Account Data: When you register, we collect your email address, business name, and physical address.
  • Integration Data: If you connect Shopify, we securely store integration tokens to sync your product and customer data.
  • Audience Data: We securely store the email addresses and names of the subscribers you upload or sync for the sole purpose of sending your campaigns.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data exclusively to operate the PixelHub service, including scheduling and delivering automated emails, providing customer support, and processing subscription payments. We will never sell your data or your customers' data to third parties.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We use trusted, GDPR-compliant third-party services to run PixelHub:

  • Postmark: For delivering outgoing emails.
  • Stripe: For processing secure payments (we do not store your credit card details).
  • Shopify: For syncing store data (if authorized by you).

5. Your Rights & Data Deletion (Right to be Forgotten)

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data.

  • For Merchants: You may request the deletion of your PixelHub account and all associated data by emailing us at support@pixelhub.me.
  • For Subscribers: Every email sent via PixelHub includes a mandatory "Unsubscribe" link. If a subscriber wishes to have their data completely removed from a Merchant's PixelHub database, they or the Merchant may submit a deletion request to support@pixelhub.me, and our support team will permanently erase the record within 30 days.
