Robert Abbasi is a real estate executive with over 30 years of experience encompassing many different disciplines within the industry. His experience began in 1983 at a major investment brokerage company where he closed a number of commercial real estate transactions. During his brokerage career, Mr. Abbasi completed over $300,000,000 in transactions.

In 1986, Robert Abbasi founded RTI Properties, Inc., initially to purchase and manage apartment complexes in the Southern California region. Under Robert Abbasi's leadership, RTI has now grown to become a nationally recognized real estate company with several divisions which include Property/ Asset Management, Property Acquisitions, Private Lending, Commercial Property Brokerage/ Leasing, and Real Estate Development.  RTI and its affiliates have transacted well over $2 Billion in transactions.

Robert Abbasi's real estate knowledge and experience have proven to be highly beneficial to the company’s growth over the years. In addition to his success with RTI Properties, Inc., Robert Abbasi was formerly a Bank Board Director for a business bank in Los Angeles and, in 1993, he obtained an MBA degree from the University of Southern California.

Within his first several years in business, Robert Abbasi turned his initial personal investment capital from brokerage earnings into a sizeable real estate portfolio. Through real estate downturns, he prospered due to disciplined management control of his properties, proving his firm’s management capabilities. He enjoys an excellent reputation within the industry for his integrity, knowledge, and following through. 

Mr. Abbasi has served as a confidant and advisor to many in the industry including institutions, investors, brokers, property managers, attorneys, and bank executives.  He was very accomplished in business school, graduating with honors and is well versed in the impacts of macroeconomic changes on the real estate business and on relevant hedging strategies.  Robert Abbasi's real estate and management capabilities have been well proven throughout his career.

Currently RTI Properties, Inc. (and its affiliates) is seeking value-add/ repositioning opportunities throughout the country in various real estate sectors including multi-family, retail, storage, hospitality, and select office properties. The company has the wherewithal and funding to purchase properties from $5,000,000 to $30,000,000 and can close quickly if required. RTI’s partners include family offices, high net worth individuals, institutions, regional/ local real estate firms, and international wealth management firms.  Today, Robert Abbasi continues to serve as President of RTI Properties, Inc.
