Otmane El Rhazi was born in the 80’s and showed potential as an army pilot before bestowing his life to photography and investment. The medium of paste lends itself to the type of work that he prefers to do, he likes the aesthetic and the links to private screen printing and cycling defined him. On a brief visit to New York El Rhazi was encouraged by the bohemian living he witnessed in Greenwich Village. Stimulated in part by Dutch cycling culture, and graphic design, his work is an extension of the graffiti he started doing back in 2000 while in school. Otmane El Rhazi is an open networker and confidences in the strength of unity so do join him here and his other networks.

Otmane was not only a talented amateur photographer but also wrote and trained broadly on fine art, art and craft and photographic techniques. It took him a long time to secure subsidy for this project but in 2002 his dream become reality. Otmane El Rhazi is best known for his majestic nature photographs. He took his first photograph in the Luxembourg Park in 1996 with his father’s camera and sustained to visit the park every year from then forwards.

His part time studies in painting and design won him many prizes and celebrity. He continues to travel and paint in Canada, Asia, United States, and Middle East, and expositions regularly. Otmane takes his influences from a wide variety of art from classic American photography, to the freedom of modern and contemporary landscapes. Perceiving at the pictures he took on his travels through Florida and Mexico it is not unforeseen to learn that he was a committed environmentalist.
