Portrait Photography

In our portrait photography, we strive to identify, and then show your true (and often hidden) character.

For a portrait photograph to stand the test of time, it should be more than a simple record of how you looked on a particular day. Rather, it should tell a tale of who you are, and how you came to be the character we get to work with. For this reason, we like to photograph you in a setting which is natural to the real you. 

Where possible we like to show you in your natural surroundings - home, office or linked to your favourite activity or sport.

However, if you prefer that we accentuate your features, then a studio portrait session may be more to your taste. 

We are well versed in corrective posing techniques and will work with you to show you off to your best advantage.

Events

It is the combination of character, communication skills and attention to detail on the part of the photographer that makes the difference to event photographs. I go out of my way to establish a rapport with all of the attendees at each event we cover. This rapport ensures that your guests accept and interact playfully with me.

A useful skill we have developed through photographing the very young is that of anticipating the action. By pre-preparing and anticipating we capture the most endearing expressions; the real emotions behind your event.

Events we have covered range from children's and adult parties through sporting and corporate events, to funerals. Whatever event you are planning, we will capture it and deliver you a pictorial record beyond your own awareness of the events of the day.
