Operating under the leadership of owners Karen and Robert E. Spitalnick, Birchwood Properties offers investment capital and management for buildings throughout New York City. Additionally, the company has provided financial backing for such New York properties as 1954 York Avenue, 5501 New Utrecht Avenue, and 2470 West 1st Street.

Birchwood Properties works closely with such real estate groups as East Village Owners and Gidina Partners, LLC. Its partners provide more than 35 years of real estate experience, having joined the same family partnership in 1980. Karen and Robert E. Spitalnick purchased their first property independently in 1986, and have participated in the competitive markets of Manhattan and Brooklyn.
